Giorgio Quaroni was an Italian painter born in Rome in 1907 and died in 1960. He is known for his mural painting 'La fondazione di Roma' created between September 1939 and January 1940, which is of great symbolic value and celebrates Roman nature. He also created the stained glass windows for the Church of Sant'Andrea Apostolo in Siena. Quaroni was also involved in the creation of the Mostra d'Oltremare in Naples, one of the main trade fair venues in Italy. He worked with contemporary artists such as Cambellotti, Missori, Gaudenzi, Grottini, Selva, and Hajnal.
