Han Sungpil is a Korean artist born in Seoul in 1972. He works in Seoul, South Korea and Calgary, Canada. He studied at Kingston University in London and obtained a MA in Curating in 2004. He is known for his photography work, particularly his Façade Project, which has stirred a sensation in the contemporary art world. Han Sungpil's work often explores the relationship between reality and fiction, and he uses photography as a means to question and challenge the viewer's perception of the world.
