Hans Peisser was a German sculptor, architect, engineer, draftsman, and mechanist born in Hassfurt/Unterfranken, Germany around 1505. He was active in Nuremberg and ended his career at the imperial court in Prague. Peisser was a significant contributor to the development of the Renaissance in Germany, particularly in the field of bronze sculpture. He died after 1571.
