Igor Mosny is a Slovak sculptor born on January 9, 1959, in Trencianske Teplice. He studied at the High School of Fine Arts (1974-1978) and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava (1979-1985). Mosny's work combines classical sculpture with found objects, creating unique and thought-provoking pieces that explore themes of identity, history, and culture. His sculptures often feature human and animal figures, as well as abstract forms, which are characterized by their simplicity, elegance, and emotional depth. Mosny has exhibited his work in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Slovakia and abroad, and his pieces can be found in various private and public collections.
