Jia Aili is a Chinese artist born in Dandong in 1979. He lives and works in Beijing. He graduated from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts in Shenyang in 2004. His works often confront the changes in Chinese society and are characterized by large-scale paintings depicting post-apocalyptic visions of a dystopian world. Jia Aili is one of China's most talked-about artists.
