Lauren Sansaricq is an American artist born in 1990 in Columbia County, New York. She grew up surrounded by the beauties of the Hudson Valley and was exposed to a traditional approach to painting from an early age. Sansaricq is a graduate of The Mary Louis Academy, an all-girls private Catholic college-preparatory academy located in Jamaica Estates, Queens, New York City. She studied art at a young age, learning Hudson River School techniques, and later attended the Grand Central Atelier. Sansaricq's work has been exhibited in galleries across the United States, and she is known for her oil paintings on panel. Her style is characterized by her use of light and color to create atmospheric and emotive landscapes.
