Tiểu sử:
John Leopold Brodie was an entrepreneur and inventor who made his fortune in the gold and diamond mines of South Africa, but worked at the time in London. He designed a helmet that was superior to the French Adrian helmet. His monolithic construction, which can be pressed from a single thick steel plate, increases resistance and simplifies production.
