Miriam Medrez is a Mexican artist born in Mexico City in 1958. She studied Plastic Arts at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. Her work has been exhibited in various galleries and museums such as Pen + Brush, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey (MARCO), and the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA). Medrez's artworks have been sold at auction with prices ranging from $2,147 to $8,750. She is known for her multidisciplinary approach in her artistic practice, which often explores themes related to gender and identity.
