Pavel Varfolomeyevich Kuznetsov was a Russian painter born in Vyatka in 1878. He studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture and later at the Académie Julian in Paris. Kuznetsov was a member of the Union of Russian Artists and the World of Art group. He was known for his Symbolist and Modernist paintings, as well as his portraits and landscapes. Kuznetsov died in Moscow in 1968.
