Petr Pavlovich Ossovsky was a Russian painter born in 1925 in Malaya Viska, The Kirovograd Region, Ukraine. He was known for his Modernist landscape, skyscape, church and industrial scene painting. Ossovsky was a Merited Artist of the RSFSR in 1970 and a People’s Artist of the RSFSR. He passed away in 2015.
