Renzo Faggioli is an Italian ceramist and sculptor born in 1940 in Bethlehem, United States. He has been a member of the Moravian University art faculty since the 1970s and has been a ceramist-in-residence since then. Faggioli studied at the State Scuola Ceramica Della Robbia in Florence and pursued advanced studies thereafter. He is known for his elegant sculptures and beautiful wheel-thrown vessels. Faggioli has served on The Baum School of Art’s faculty for nearly 50 years, the longest tenure of service of any faculty member. He has also been a mentor to many students, including Lisa Fraenkel, for over 20 years. Faggioli's work has been exhibited in various museums and galleries, including the Allentown Art Museum, the Payne Gallery at Moravian University, and The Baum School of Art. He has won numerous awards and recognitions for his contributions to the field of ceramics and sculpture. Faggioli's most famous works include 'Torso' and 'Benigna Zinzendorf.' He continues to create and inspire new generations of artists.
