Victor Frank Stiebel was a South African-born British couturier. He was born in Durban, South Africa in 1907 and arrived in Britain in 1924 to study at Cambridge. He designed for theatre wardrobe at university and later worked in dress design. He established his own fashion house on Bruton Street in the 1930s and joined the Incorporated Society of London Fashion Designers in 1942. He was known for his elegant and feminine designs and was one of the most respected couturiers in London. He passed away in 1976.
