Wang Wenzhi was a Chinese calligrapher and poet of the Qing Dynasty. He was born in Dantu, Jiangsu, China in 1730 and died in 1802. Wang Wenzhi is famous for his calligraphy and poetry, and is considered one of the most important figures in the history of Chinese art. He was represented Taiwan at the 2001 Venice Biennale and has been behind a number of installation art works.
